2024
Our first newsletter introduces Refugee States as a community-driven, SSHRC-funded initiative focused on storytelling, oral history, and collaborative research-creation. It outlines the project’s foundational values—care, consent, and anti-extractive research—and previews early partnerships, community collaborations, and team-building efforts across Toronto and Montreal. A glimpse into what’s to come, this issue sets the tone for a radically ethical and creative archive-in-the-making.
